We are universally called to be people of the Word: people who belong to Christ, the living Word of God. We are called to be people who keep their word, who live according to the Word we believe in. We are called to be people, like our Mother Mary, who are completely open to the Word of God and ready to respond to His inspirations (Luke 8, 19-21).
Pope Leo has beautifully shared that “living as a Christian” is quite straightforward: we must simply listen to God’s Word and let it guide your daily actions. But listening isn’t just about hearing words; it invites us to reflect and ask, “What should I change, forgive, start, or let go of today?” This gentle approach reminds us that faith is not a one-time decision, but instead a life-long daily choice. Let us choose Christ!
